LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police announced that they are conducting a critical investigation in the Southside neighborhood and are requesting the public to avoid the area.

In a tweet from LMPD, the department stated that there is a heavy police presence in the 100 block of East Southland Boulevard due to a critical investigation.
