With just two weeks left in the regular season, Week 13 was about staying in the College Football Playoff picture and giving the committee the best impression.

Much of the SEC was facing nonconference opponents and getting lopsided result. The Oklahoma Sooners , however, entered the week with two conference games remaining. Saturday, the Sooners, ranked No. 8 in the CFP rankings, hosted the No. 22 Missouri Tigers .

A week after upsetting Alabama, OU's defense was all over the Tigers in a 17-6 win . The Sooners forced two turnovers and sacked Mizzou QB Beau Pribula four times. In winning its fifth game against a ranked opponent this season, OU held Missouri running back Ahmad Hardy , FBS' leading rusher, to just 57 yards.
