BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue police saw an increase in DUI arrests in November ahead of the holiday travel rush. Police made 20 DUI arrests as of Saturday the 22nd. Year-to-date numbers show a 7 percent increase compared to last year.
Data from the department’s Crime Analysis Unit shows 270 DUI arrests so far in 2025, up from 253 arrests in 2024. Police say the jump comes as officers encounter impaired drivers across the city.
“DUIs happen in any zip code, there really is no specific hotspot,” department spokesperson Drew Anderson said.
Anderson said officers are making stops in neighborhoods citywide, from downtown and the connector to Crossroads and Factoria. Drivers are urged to plan ahead.
