Morgan Geekie scored his second goal of the game at 2:27 of overtime, lifting the visiting Boston Bruins to a 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night.
David Pastrnak played the puck at the blue line and send a pass to Geekie, who triggered a shot from the top of the right circle for the decisive goal.
Geekie, who registered his second consecutive multi-goal performance, is tied for the NHL lead with 16 goals this season. Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon also has 16.
Nikita Zadorov dished out two assists and Jeremy Swayman stopped 31 of the 32 shots he faced for the Bruins, who had lost three of their previous four games.
A short-handed goal by Los Angeles' Joel Armia with 6:57 left forced the extra session.
