A vet has warned that Britain's winter weather could be a serious threat to certain dogs , with owners needing to recognise when it's too dangerous to go outside. Some dogs might tolerate the cold better, but it could be fatal to others.

The UK has recently emerged from a spell of snow and ice alerts issued by the Met Office . Whilst these warnings have now been lifted, temperatures remain bitterly cold - potentially putting our four-legged friends at risk if taken out in harsh conditions.
