A 31-year-old man was arrested today for first-degree reckless endangering after allegedly firing a gun into the air during a “disturbance” at a Waipahu home, according to a Honolulu Police Department news release.
The incident happened around 2:44 p.m. at a residence on Aniani Place, the release said. The suspect allegedly pulled out the weapon during an argument and fired it once while the victim stood nearby.
Responding HPD District 3 patrol officers quickly located the suspect and recovered the firearm, the release said. No injuries were reported.
