James 'Jemsie' Nunan vanished while on a round-the-world sailing trip but his family has now revealed that fresh clues have emerged in the ongoing probe into the mystery
The family of a sailor who vanished on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria have said key items have been discovered in the investigation.
James 'Jemsie' Nunan , from Colchester in Essex, disappeared in August while on an around-the-world trip in his vessel. A search for Jemsie ensued and he was traced to visiting a kebab shop in the island capital Las Palmas on August 19 - with his Irish passport around his neck. Police found his boat 100 miles (160km) from his last known location in Las Palmas and CCTV captured him on August 19 at a police station reporting his passport lost.
