As the 2025 G20 Summit unfolds in South Africa, global leaders are focusing on four major priorities that aim to shape the future of sustainable development and economic resilience. Sudhakar Dalela, India’s Secretary (Economic Relations) and the Ministry of External Affairs’ lead for G20 affairs, has outlined these priorities at a press briefing on Saturday.

Speaking to reporters, Dalela highlighted that the summit is working around the central themes of solidarity, equality, and sustainability. “The G20 this year has sent a strong message on four main priorities identified by the South African presidency,” he said.
