A dense fog advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 1:29 a.m. in effect until 10 a.m. for South Central Oregon Coast, Central Douglas County and Eastern Curry County and Josephine County as well as Jackson County.
"Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "In addition, with temperatures near or just below freezing in some areas, particularly the Rogue Valley, freezing fog is also possible, which could result in slick spots."
"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," states the weather service. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you."
