CANTON – Reindeer, a visit by Santa and sleigh rides are just a few of the festivities coming to the city for Light Up Downtown .
The annual holiday celebration returns Dec. 3 to Central Plaza and downtown Canton with 14 city blocks of attractions. Presented by the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, the event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is free to the public.
Light Up Downtown, traditionally held on a Thursday, has been moved to Wednesday this year, said Kathy Lindenberger, the chamber's event manager.
The Little Roaming Railroad will circle the Central Plaza Christmas tree, while horse and sleigh rides glide along Market Avenue S.
The 720 Market Village of Shops will host local vendors from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present for
