COLUMBUS, Ohio — It all comes down to this.

After 11 games across three months, Rutgers football’s postseason fate will be determined on the final day of the 2025 regular season.

When the Scarlet Knights (5-6, 2-6) host Penn State (5-6, 2-6) in Piscataway on Saturday, the winner will come out with a bowl bid while the loser leaves without another game to play.

“Biggest game of the year,” defensive end Eric O’Neill said. “We knew it was going to be, and we’re excited.”

Both teams enter the game with reason for optimism.
