India find themselves in a precarious position in the ongoing second Test against South Africa at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. After opting to bat first, South Africa posted a humongous score of 489 after lower order resistance from Senuran Muthuswamy (109) and Marco Jansen (93).

South Africa’s massive score has pushed India to a corner, who’re now in a danger of losing their second Test series at home in as many years. In the absence of captain Shubman Gill, India face a herculean task of making a comeback in the Test match to level the series.
