New Delhi: Nokia has decided to increase its presence in the United States by investing $ 4 billion over the next few years. This money will mainly be used to improve research, development and manufacturing for new network technology that can support AI-based services. The company wants to build faster, safer and more energy-efficient networks for mobile, broadband, data centres and optical communication as demand keeps rising.

This plan is being carried out with support from the Trump administration. It comes on top of Nokia’s earlier $ 2.3 billion investment that was connected to its purchase of Infinera Corporation.
