Heung-min Son suffered an agonising conclusion to his first season in Major League Soccer.

The former Tottenham hero scored a superb double, including a finely-struck free-kick, but it was in vain as his Los Angeles FC side were dumped out of the MLS play-offs.

Son rolled back the years on Saturday night with a superb two-goal display to claw his side back from the brink against second-seeded Vancouver Whitecaps.

At 2-0 down and with 30 minutes left to play, Son pulled a goal back for LAFC, but the South Korean saved his best for last.
