Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday met South African President Cyril Ramaphosa in Johannesburg on the sidelines of the G20 Summit, thanking him for the hospitality extended and for the successful conduct of the meeting. PM Modi said India appreciated South Africa’s efforts to build on outcomes of the New Delhi G20 Summit.
The two leaders reviewed bilateral cooperation and noted progress in areas such as trade, investment, food security, skill development, mining, youth exchange and people-to-people engagement.
