The day two of the IMC Over-40 T20 Cricket World Cup 2025 saw Pakistan registering their second consecutive victory and the UAE’s Malik Qamar Abbas creating history with the tournament’s first century.

At the National Bank Stadium Karachi, Pakistan defeated Hong Kong by 57 runs to maintain their unbeaten run.

Batting first, Pakistan posted an impressive 192 for four. Vice-captain Fawad Alam led the charge with a brisk 56 from 28 balls, supported by Tariq Mahmood’s 46 off 27. In response, Hong Kong managed 135 for six in their 20 overs.

Mohammad Suleman claimed three for 35, while Zulfiqar Babar took two for 16.

Fawad Alam was named Player of the Match.
