In one of the biggest methamphetamine seizures recorded in the capital, a joint team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Delhi Police has cracked open a trans-national drug syndicate, recovering 328.54 kg of meth worth Rs 262 crore after a three-day operation that began with a raid on a Delhi farmhouse and ended in Chhattarpur.
Two people, including a woman from Nagaland, have been arrested.
NOIDA SALES MANAGER EMERGES AS KEY LINK
The operation gained momentum after investigators picked up Shane Waris, a 25-year-old resident of Noida Sector-5, originally from Mangrauli village in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh.
Waris, who posed as a sales manager, allegedly operated through fake SIM cards and encrypted platforms such as WhatsApp and Zangi, taking instructions from foreign handlers.
