CINCINNATI, Ohio — The Bengals knew they were going to look different on Sunday against the Patriots after Ja’Marr Chase was suspended for spitting on Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey a week ago.
As a result of his suspension and Jermaine Burton again being a healthy scratch, the Bengals will have only four active receivers on Sunday: Tee Higgins, Andrei Iosivas, Charlie Jones and Mitchell Tinsley.
Burton, a third-round pick in 2024, has yet to play in a game this season.
Because Chase is suspended, he wasn’t listed on the inactive list.
