CLEVELAND, Ohio – With the Cleveland Browns taking on the Las Vegas Raiders this afternoon, all eyes will be on rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
But he’s facing more than just on-field pressure; his suburban Cleveland home was burglarized during his NFL debut last week.
According to the Medina County sheriff, three masked intruders broke into Sanders’ house and made off with an estimated $200,000 worth of property.
In recent months, other high-profile athletes have seen similar home invasions.
Over the past couple years, quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes and our own local-guy-makes-good Travis Kelce have been targeted for robberies during games. Other athletes like Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić, Mike Conley Jr. and Bobby Portis.
