Paddy McGuinness paid a heartfelt tribute to Gary 'Mani' Mounfield following his sudden passing at 63. The Stone Roses and Primal Scream bassist died at the age of 63. His brother Greg Mounfield confirmed the musician's death on Thursday, November 20. He posted on Facebook : "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce the sad passing of my brother Gary Mani Mounfield. RIP RKID."

Mani's death was revealed almost exactly two years after his wife Imelda passed away, having been diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2020 before dying in 2023, reports the Manchester Evening News .

Greg added in a comment beneath the post: "Reunited with his beautiful wife Imelda."
