Ant McPartlin has addressed his long-standing feud with former campmate Kelly Brook during a recent episode of *I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked*. The tension between the two dates back to 2009 when Brook accused McPartlin and his presenting partner Declan Donnelly of orchestrating her dismissal as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*. During the show, Ant commented on the cooking skills of this year's campmates, stating, "What they’ve got given hasn’t been awful, has it? Even octopus, if you cook it right, it’s nice. They just cooked it badly. Every dinner they’ve made I’ve thought, 'That looks rancid.'" Kemi Rogers, one of the hosts, suggested that Ant's remarks were directed at Kelly and Martin Kemp, who are currently responsible for cooking in the camp. Dec then asked Ant, "What’s your problem with Kelly Brook?" to which Ant replied, "Don’t you start! I don’t have a problem with Kelly Brook, thank you." The feud began when Brook was brought on as the first fourth judge on *Britain's Got Talent*, alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Piers Morgan. She was let go after just six episodes, with the show's format being deemed "too complicated". Brook has maintained that Ant and Dec were instrumental in her departure. In their 2009 memoir, *Ooh! What a Lovely Pair: Our Story*, Dec expressed confusion over Brook's hiring, recalling a moment when she seemed unaware of the show's format. He wrote, "I don’t want to sound like an egomaniac, but the last person who said, 'And what do you do?' was the Queen when I met her at the party for ITV's fiftieth anniversary." Brook later claimed that her career suffered after her exit from the show, stating, "There was nothing I could do in this country after *Britain's Got Talent*. The people at ITV were telling me that I had upset Ant and Dec and that was it." She expressed her desire to remain on the show, saying, "I really felt it was working out. Ant and Dec had never been anything but pleasant to my face but, clearly, they didn't want me on the show." In their memoir, Ant and Dec admitted they were "annoyed" about not being informed of Brook's addition to the judging panel. Dec noted, "We had two questions: 'Why is there a fourth judge?' and 'Why is it Kelly Brook?' None of them could answer us." Brook responded to their memoir by stating, "As for Ant and Dec, good luck to them. They are rich and they are happy, but they won't be in my autobiography, even if I am in theirs!" The ongoing tension between the trio continues to capture public interest as they navigate their complex history in the entertainment industry.
