Boston Police officers arrested a 36-year-old man for allegedly possessing a firearm illegally Saturday night in Roxbury.
Keith Woods, of Boston, was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without a Firearm Identification card, and resisting arrest.
Officers arrested Woods after approaching a vehicle they said turned without using a signal at about 10:49 p.m. in the area around Blue Hill Avenue and Alaska Street. Initially, police spoke to the vehicle’s two occupants from their patrol car, but when the officers stepped out of their cruiser, the occupants allegedly ran from the scene.
