Morgan Geyser, one of the girls convicted in the 2014 Slender Man stabbing, was found a day after she reportedly cut off her GPS monitoring bracelet and left her group home over the weekend, according to police.

Late Sunday night, Madison Police say she was found in Illinois and taken into custody.

Geyser went missing around 8 p.m. Saturday night in Madison, Wisconsin, with an adult acquaintance, according to police. Police were notified of her disappearance on Sunday morning.

Geyser was placed in a group home this year after being granted a conditional release from the Winnebago Mental Health Institute .
