Chris McCausland has disclosed that there are several questions his wife "doesn't ask" him anymore, as he spoke candidly about the difficulties of maintaining a marriage while being blind.

The comedian, recognised for his sharp observational humour on Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You?, and Strictly Come Dancing, explored his marriage to Patricia Azure in his newly published memoir, Keep Laughing.

The 48-year-old, who became blind in his early twenties due to a hereditary condition, met Patricia at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2005. Their romance swiftly developed into something serious, with the pair marrying in 2012. They subsequently built a life together while managing the challenges that accompanied his declining eyesight
