A Jackson County man died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday evening, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports.

According to information provided by ALEA, 59-year-old Barry D. Dunn of Flat Rock “was fatally injured when the 2010 Buick Lacrosse he was driving left the roadway, striking several trees, prior to striking an embankment and then a culvert before overturning.”

Dunn was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck took place near mile marker 26 on Ala. 117, about two miles northwest of Flat Rock, at about 4:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22. Troopers are investigating the incident.
