KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - The Omaha Supernovas brought their volleyball expertise to central Nebraska Sunday, hosting a skills clinic at the new Kearney SportsPlex.
Former Nebraska Cornhusker Merritt Beason and former Creighton Bluejay Allison Holder were among the instructors for the day-long event that drew young athletes from across the region.
The all-skills clinic was divided into two age-based sessions. The first session started at 11 a.m. and featured kids from second grade to fifth grade. Sixth through eighth graders took the court at 2:30 p.m.
The clinic focused on helping athletes work on their fundamentals while having fun on the court.
