The Detroit Lions trailed the New York Giants all game long until they finally broke through with a game-winning touchdown run from Jahmyr Gibbs in overtime, securing a 34-27 victory at Ford Field on Sunday .

The defense struggled at times, but came up with some huge late stops, including the second career interception by safety Thomas Harper.

With the win, the Lions move to 7-4 on the season, avoiding their first consecutive losses in the regular season since 2022.
