ARLINGTON, TEXAS — As if the Philadelphia Eagles ’ loss to the Dallas Cowboys couldn’t get worse, the defending Super Bowl champs are dealing with another injury.
Eagles safety Andrew Mukuba was seen leaving the locker room with a boot on his right foot and using crutches after Philadelphia’s 24-21 defeat to the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
Mukuba, the rookie starter out of Texas, was rolled up on by Sydney Brown late in the fourth quarter. He had to be helped off an injury cart and into the locker room.
Mukuba is one of several injuries to come out of Sunday’s game. Fellow starting safety Reed Blankenship and cornerback Adoree’ Jackson also left the game. Blankenship’s injury is unclear while Jackson entered the concussion protocol in the second half.
