PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two people are dead and two others are in the hospital after a shooting in south Phoenix Sunday evening.
Just before 5 p.m., officers responded to the area of Baseline Road and 40th Street for a domestic violence call. As officers were arriving at the scene, the caller told the dispatcher that gunshots were being fired inside the home.
Phoenix police say a man and woman are dead. Two other men are in the hospital, one is fighting for his life, and the other is expected to be OK. Police did not release the names of the people involved. It is unclear whether all of the people injured were shot or if the injuries were from something else. Police did not say how those involved knew each other.
Detetcives are on scene working to uncover what led up to the deadly shoot
