A1 traffic LIVE: Two stretches of motorway closed as car blaze causes travel chaos

An accident and nearby vehicle fire have forced police to close the A1M and M1, sparking travel chaos.

The A1M is also closed in both directions between Junction 38 and Junction 39 due to a "police led incident".
