A lorry, bus and car were involved in a fatal crash in County Meath on Monday morning, resulting in two deaths and several injuries.
The lorry driver, a man in his 40s, and the bus driver, a man in his 50s, tragically lost their lives at the scene in Gormanstown, according to Gardai. The female driver of the car, also in her 40s, and a teenage girl who was travelling in the car sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospital.
The woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, while the young girl was initially admitted to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda before being transferred to Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin.
It is understood passengers on the early morning Bus Eireann route were also taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening in
