Ipswich Town defender Leif Davis has revealed his motivation for participating in Movember.
The initiative sees the participant grow a moustache to raise awareness for certain causes that impact men – with a focus on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
For Davis, it’s mental health and suicide prevention, something incredibly important to him for a reason he bravely shared after Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Wrexham.
Now, he and club captain Dara O’Shea are teaming up for the Movember challenge, keen to draw attention to it before the end of the month and raise money for charity.
