Rangers have today parted company with both chief executive Patrick Stewart and sporting director Kevin Thelwell.

The pair have come under heavy fire from the club's supporters after a poor start to the season which has followed what now looks like a shambolic summer transfer window. Significant money was spent and the majority of players brought in have not been providing enough of a return.

While the Ibrox club have picked up under Danny Rohl, winning all four of his league matches in charge, feeling towards Stewart and Thelwell has not improved much and the decision has now been taken to move them on.
