Andrew Cavenagh has admitted Patrick Stewart and Kevin Thelwell were not the right fits for Rangers after sacking the pair.
The Ibrox club confirmed today the duo have left their roles as chief executive and sporting director respectively. Stewart was in position for one year and Thelwell just six months and both have been unpopular figures with the support.
After a disastrous start to the current season, anger was directed at both as well as previous head coach Russell Martin with frustrations at both the on-pitch and off-pitch performance of the club.
