WRIGHT COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) -A 62-year-old Mansfield man has died after a vehicle crash on U.S. 60 Sunday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol , the crash occurred on U.S. 60 in Wright County, just one mile east of Mansfield, around 9:45 a.m.
Troopers said a 2008 Chevy Silverado, driven by a 62-year-old man from Mansfield, was heading east on the highway when it slowed to make a right turn. The Silverado was then hit in the rear by a 2005 Dodge Ram.
The Silverado then travelled off the right side of the roadway and overturned multiple times. The driver was later pronounced dead by the Wright County coroner, according to troopers.
Troopers said the driver of the Dodge Ram, a 48-year-old Ava, Mo., man, sustained minor injuries. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt.
