OMAHA, Neb. —

Strikes and Spares were rolled at Maplewood Lanes to raise money for stray cats.

Many kittens on the streets need care; that's where Stray to Spay comes in.

Those furry friends are able to get food and the right vaccinations before they are put back in the wild or ready to be adopted.

"We were looking for a way to raise money that didn't necessarily have to be a cat lover. It was basically a family-friendly event that was affordable for people," said Rachel Sutko, founder and president at Stray to Spay.
