Thanksgiving week in the Chicago area will start out mild, the NBC 5 Storm Team said , with cloudy skies overhead, scattered rain and temperatures in the low 50s. But as the week inches closer to Turkey Day, the weather will be wintry -- with cold, wind and snow.
"Showers and comfortable temperatures today, but then our temperatures really take a turn," NBC 5 Storm Team meteorologist Pete Sack said Sack added that conditions over the weekend were expected to get "messy."
According to Sack, Monday will see a high of 52 degrees with clouds increasing by midday. Later in the afternoon and overnight, scattered rain showers will move in, with the wet weather expected to stick around for the Tuesday morning commute.
