MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi will travel to Memphis Monday to meet with law enforcement officials, nearly two months after the surge in federal law enforcement the city has seen.

Bondi will appear with Trump administration official Scott Turner, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and US Marshals Service Director Gady Serralta.

Governor Bill Lee will represent the state of Tennessee, along with US Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty.

The meeting comes after the Memphis Safe Task Force reported more than 3,000 arrests, over 35,000 traffic stops and seized over 700 illegal firearms.

There has been a slow but steady decline in the number of offenses since the operation began.
