Those traveling for Thanksgiving should be prepared for rain and snow in Massachusetts.
Ahead of the holiday, rain is expected Tuesday into Wednesday with Wednesday afternoon having “spring-ish warmth.”
However, the warmth isn’t expected to stay for long.
By Thanksgiving, afternoon highs are expected to be in the upper 40s. And wind gusts will have it feeling as if it were in the 30s for much of Massachusetts. Wind gusts could exceed 45 mph in the Berkshires.
The Berkshires could also get snow on Thanksgiving and Friday.
But overall, the day is expected to be sunny, according to the National Weather Service.
