Residents and colleagues at a care home have donated over 170 gifts to Glasgow Children's Hospital . Antonine House Care Home in Bearsden has worked as part of the Dunelm Christmas Tree Giving Project which is an initiative which tries to ensure no child goes without a gift at Christmas.
The care home worked by raising money so that they would be able to provide gifts for the children who need to spend Christmas inside hospital. It has held various fundraising events throughout the year including fayres, open days and raffles.
Antonine House has managed to raise £700 from the generosity of the visiting families, staff and the local community. This money raised has helped them buy many gifts for all ages, including toys, toiletries and cozy pajamas.
