STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — While the Staten Island Mall in New Springville will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Black Friday, with some stores opening earlier.

Anchor department stores such as Macy’s and JCPenney will open their doors at 6 a.m. and 5 a.m., respectively.

The shopping center will launch its holiday schedule on Friday, Dec. 6, which will run through Christmas Eve. During that time, the Mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. On Christmas Eve, the Mall will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the shopping center will be closed on Christmas Day. The Mall will be open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
