FORT MILL, S.C. (WBTV) - A person died after they were shot multiple times at an apartment complex in York County on Sunday.
Deputies were initially called to the Lakeview Apartments on around 9:15 p.m. on Nov. 23 for a report of disorderly conduct. At some point, the call was upgraded to a shooting.
When York County deputies got there, they ordered 26-year-old Cobey Allen Chambers out of the apartment and detained him. They also found a person who was shot three times. That person died at the complex.
Officials did not release the name, age nor gender of the person who died, nor did they say what led up to the shooting. It was also unclear if Chambers was suspected of firing the fatal shots. Records showed he was booked into the York County jail early Monday morning, but he was charg
