An action packed spy thriller film which fans have said is 'jaw dropping' airs on Film 4 tonight.

Salt, released in 2010, stars Angelina Jolie , Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Daniel Olbrychski and Mike Krause. The film's name Salt is derived from the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) that took place between the USA and the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

The film focuses on Angelina Jolie as Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer, who swears an oath to duty, honour and country. Yet, when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy, Salt's oath is put to the test.
