A fed-up West Roxbury resident files a 311 complaint about the situation on Leland Road, just south of Brookline, which bans overnight parking:
We live in West Roxbury and find Brookline residents parking their cars overnight (and for days!) on our street, because it borders Brookline. The street sweeper in summer and snow plow in winter, trash and recycling trucks, delivery trucks, etc can’t get by. What can we do? They are taking OUR parking spots. Parking should be for residents only. They don’t pay taxes to Boston! Thank you.
Ed. note: That's why God gave us residential parking permits. Get all your neighbors together and petition for some sweet West Roxbury parking-permit action. Bonus: Those stickers will even let you park near the commuter-rail stop off Lagrange Street.
