“It was a lot of fun, just the whole experience,” he said a day after the airing he watched with friends and family.

Kohlmeier, who works at The Beer Store, fell to nine-day – as of Friday – champion Harrison Whitaker, and said he “kind of watched it between (his) fingers.”

But he’s been getting plenty of support for the feat of making it on, including texts from friends he hasn’t seen in years, he said.
