Police have launched an urgent appeal after a man was charged with the murder of a woman in south London. It comes as part of a wider investigation into multiple violent offences, police say. Simon Levy, 40, of Beaufoy Road, Tottenham, is accused of murdering Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo. He is due to appear via video-link at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
The charge relates to an incident in March. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: "Police were called on Monday, March 17, to reports of an unresponsive woman at a property on the Aylesbury Estate, SE17.
