The United States Department of War announced on Nov. 24 the Pentagon was investigating "serious allegations of misconduct" by Sen. Mark Kelly.

"A thorough review" of the allegations was initiated to determine further actions against the retired U.S. Navy captain, "which may include recall to active duty for court-martial proceedings or administrative measures," the government agency said in a post on X .
