DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — Dorchester County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man wanted on multiple active warrants for violent crimes after a pursuit that ended in a crash Friday morning.
Christopher James Lynch, 43, faces additional charges including failure to stop for blue lights in addition to the outstanding warrants. The Dorchester County jail website did not specify the additional charges he faces.
A judge has set a bond of $50,000 on the failure to stop charge, jail records state.
“This violent suspect did everything possible to escape law enforcement, even leading deputies across multiple jurisdictions before jumping into a lake”, Sheriff Sam Richardson said.
