A 27-year-old woman from Cornwall is facing three charges after police responded to a call on Sunday.

Police alleged the woman bit and struck her boyfriend.

She was held in police custody pending a bail hearing in Cornwall court.

A 43-year-old man is facing two charges after police responded to a Second Street business on Saturday.

Police alleged the man removed merchandise from the store without paying for it, and after being detained by the store’s loss-prevention officer, spat on an employee.

The man was charged with assault, and theft under $5,000.

He was held in police custody pending a bail hearing in Cornwall court.
