Firefighters respond to gas leak at Old Saybrook school

OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to an incident in Old Saybrook.

Firefighters were called to St. John’s School located on Maynard Road after a report of an odor of gas, the fire department said.

When crews arrived, they found a small leak that was fixed by the gas company.

Firefighters assisted by using fans to get rid of the odor.

No further details were released.
